01 Cusco - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valley - Cusco
Cusco - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valley - Cusco
Very early pickup from your Cusco hotel (3:30 AM). Drive through stunning Andean scenery to Cusipata (2 hours) for a hearty breakfast. Continue to the trailhead (4,600m) and begin hiking toward Rainbow Mountain. Reach the summit viewpoint (5,200m) for photos of the colorful stripes. Optional: continue to Red Valley for more spectacular scenery. Descend and enjoy lunch before returning to Cusco (approximately 5:00 PM). Total hiking: 3-4 hours.
