Itinerary

Cusco - Abra Málaga - Santa María (Biking)

Drive to Abra Málaga pass (4,350m) for the start of your 55km downhill bike ride! Descend through changing ecosystems - from snow-capped peaks through cloud forest to tropical jungle. Arrive in Santa María for a well-deserved rest. Optional rafting in the afternoon.

Santa María - Santa Teresa (Activities)

Morning trek (3 hours) through coffee and fruit plantations. Afternoon zip-line adventure (2.5 km of cables!). Relax in the famous Cocalmayo hot springs before overnight in Santa Teresa.

Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes (Hiking)

Drive to Hidroelectrica and hike the scenic railway track to Aguas Calientes (3 hours). Views of Machu Picchu mountain accompany your walk. Evening free to explore the town.

Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early morning bus to Machu Picchu for sunrise. Comprehensive 2-hour guided tour of the citadel. Free time to explore before afternoon train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco.
